Dick
Panz has 27 years as a top-level public library administrator, including
24 years as a Director. Recently retired from a successful 13-year
tenure as Director of the Rochester (NY) Public Library and Monroe
County Library System, Dick has administered a library system with
a multimillion dollar budget and a library system serving libraries
with annual budgets as low as $10,000.
Dick
is familiar with the management challenges facing libraries of all
sizes. He has experience working collaboratively with library trustees,
library directors, and public officials to improve library services.
Dick
is the recipient of several awards and citations, including the
NY Library Association's "Outstanding Service to Libraries
Award," and the Syracuse School of Information Studies "Outstanding
Alumni Award."
Dick
has in-depth knowledge of library laws and regulations governing
New York State libraries and a working knowledge of the ins and
